Lamar Baseball Texan Seniors College Committments Continue

Lamar Baseball Senior Bernardo Soria has committed to play baseball at Richland College in Dallas,Texas next season.

One More Lamar Baseball Senior Signs College Commitment

Lamar Senior Harrison Matherne has committed to play baseball next season  at Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee .

 

Five Lamar Seniors Sign College Commitments on National Signing Day


Lamar Baseball Seniors Enrique Sanchez, Andrew Hoffman, Zach Pearson, Carson Maxwell and Mark Resnick at National Signing Day

Five Lamar Baseball seniors inked their college commitments at National Signing Day on February 4, 2015.  Enrique Sanchez, Andrew Hoffman, Zach Pearson, Carson Maxwell and Mark Resnick joined over one hundred student athletes representing all HISD sports at the signing ceremony held at the Region 4 Service Center. These Lamar High School Baseball Texans will take the field for the following universities next season:

  • Enrique Sanchez: Wharton County Junior College
  • Andrew Hoffman: Trinity University
  • Zach Pearson:College of William and Mary
  • Carson Maxwell:Galveston College
  • Mark Resnick: University of Dallas

Thanks for a great fundraiser

It was an all star turnout for the Lamar Texans.  Over 100 parents, alums and friends of Lamar Baseball suited up and came together to support our team.

We appreciate all who volunteered, bought event and raffle tickets, bid at the silent auction or on the big board. You have helped keep our program on top.

Varsity Brenham Tournament Changes and Reminder That Challenger Day Is Sunday March 8

ALL THURSDAY GAMES HAVE BEEN MOVED TO FRIDAY. SAME TIME SAME FIELD. ALL FRIDAY GAMES MOVED TO SATURDAY. SAME TIME SAME FIELD. ORIGINAL GAMES SCHEDULED ON SATURDAY HAVE BEEN CANCELED. 

Sunday, March 8, all Varsity players will participate in a volunteer day with Challenger League.  Players need to be at West University Little League main campus located at University Boulevard at Auden at 1:15 p.m.  A short Challenger Buddy review will take place at :1:30 and fields will be assigned. All games should be finished by approximately 3:15 p.m.  Players need to wear blue jerseys and white pants.

 

JV SCHEDULE CHANGES AS OF 3-5-15

As per Coach Doctor:  Friday Schedule remains the same.  Games originally scheduled for Thursday will be played on Saturday:

Lamar vs Kingwood Park @ 10 a.m. and Lamar vs Humble A 12 noon. Both games will be played at Kingwood Park High School.
